We are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support major projects within the construction industry. In this role, you will assist in delivering projects in the nuclear decommissioning space, ensuring safe storage of radioactive waste.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the administration of NEC and other forms of contract, ensuring compliance with processes and timelines
  • Supporting design and planning teams to embed commercial considerations early in project development
  • Helping manage contractor and supplier engagement alongside clients and stakeholders
  • Contributing to cost planning, budget monitoring, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintaining accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for client reporting
Qualifications & Skills
  • Some experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within Nuclear, Civil Engineering, or related sectors
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract, including NEC suite
  • Working towards or holding an HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Law, or a related discipline
  • Interest in pursuing professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS) we’ll support you every step of the way
