Are you an experienced Assistant Buyer looking to join a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering high-profile projects? Adecco is proud to partner with a leading organisation in Liverpool seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support procurement and project administration.

Location: Liverpool

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-time, contract (18 months)

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain trackers and logs for accurate project reporting.
  • Coordinate workflows, approvals, and communication across departments.
  • Organise and manage project documentation to meet compliance standards.
  • Track procurement activities, monitor orders, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Expedite urgent orders and resolve discrepancies with teams.
  • Maintain structured document control for all project files.
  • Verify delivery notes and certificates for audit compliance.
  • Assist with monthly project reports and procurement status updates.
  • Distribute updated documentation to stakeholders promptly.
  • Coordinate site access, deliveries, and meetings for teams.
  • Liaise with warehouse teams to confirm goods receipt and update SAP.
  • Act as main contact for suppliers and internal teams on queries.
  • Follow up on outstanding actions and deliveries.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in project administration or procurement coordination.
  • Proficient in SAP (PRs/POs, GR, order tracking).
  • Strong knowledge of RFQs and purchase processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
