A leading consultancy firm is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their Bristol/Cardiff offices. The role involves assisting in feasibility studies, undertaking various surveys, and collaborating with clients and senior team members. Ideal candidates will have a degree in building surveying and good communication skills. Qualifications

  • Previous building surveying experience in a consultancy environment would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Some technical knowledge and competency in building surveying.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing feasibility studies and recommendations.
  • Help scope, estimate and present reports.
  • Undertake surveys, design, and specification services.
  • Deliver services in accordance with legislation regarding health and safety.
  • Prepare post contract administration and final account agreement.
  • Interface with the client and consultants at all project stages.
  • Construct bids for new work with senior surveyors.
  • Input learning generated from each commission into the internal database.
  • Assist with technology for data capture and reporting.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team in consultancy.
