Overview

We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team. In this role, you'll support the Regional Business Partner – UK & Europe with accounting and reporting for our UK/EU sales entities and North Europe inbound DMCs. It's a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who's ready to learn, build analytical skills, and gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of finance activities in a truly global business.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Regional Business Partner – UK & Europe with accounting and reporting for UK/EU sales entities and North Europe inbound DMCs.
  • Perform reconciliations, month‑end tasks, audit support and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Collaborate with Shared Service Centres and the wider Europe Finance team to keep financial processes running smoothly.
Qualifications
  • A degree‑level qualification in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of accounting processes and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Great time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Comfort working with diverse teams and across cultures.
  • Willingness to learn and get involved in all areas of the business.
  • Accountability, teamwork, and the ability to stay focused on detailed tasks.
Desirable
  • Progressing towards CA/CIMA (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in an international environment.
