A leading construction solutions company in the UK is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Manager. The role involves preparing journals, managing month-end close, and ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations. Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to handle complex data. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful Assistant Accountant will support the team in partnering with key business stakeholders on specific focus areas. You will contribute to the provision and reporting of effective financial information and management accounting at each month end and through the month as required.
