Job description

As our asset planning lead for asbestos, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our homes safe and compliant. You’ll lead the delivery of a first class asbestos data service that supports our planned investment programmes and various key projects. Working closely with colleagues and external consultants, you’ll make sure our processes are robust, efficient, and continuously improving – all while ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and consumer standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the delivery of asbestos data services to support investment programmes and projects
• Managing external asbestos contractors, ensuring performance meets agreed KPIs
• Coordinating the annual re‑inspection programme and any remedial actions
• Advising colleagues on asbestos data related queries, policies, and procedures
• Driving service improvements in asbestos data management and compliance
• Monitoring and reporting on asbestos data using tools like Power BI
• Staying up to date with legislation and best practice in asbestos management
