Assembly Technician

Location: Yarnton
Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Were looking for experienced Assembly Technicians to help bring these advanced systems to life. You'll be hands‑on with the mechanical and electrical assembly of compact, high‑performance systems, playing a vital role in the development, testing, and refinement of next‑generation technologies.

What You'll Be Doing as an Assembly Technician:
  • Assembling mechanical and electrical components

  • Assisting in test setups, instrumentation, and data collection

  • Conducting inspections and troubleshooting

  • Collaborating with engineers on quality and process improvement

  • Maintaining production records, inventory, and purchasing logs

  • Driving improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost

What Were Looking For as an Assembly Technician:

Essential:

  • Solid experience with mechanical assembly

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems

Desirable:

  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment

  • Background in scaling up assembly systems or manufacturing facilities

  • Familiarity with drafting SOPs and improving manufacturing processes
