Job description

The Assembly Technician's role is to assemble parts provided into complete machines and other peripheral products, following manuals and detailed instructions. The role also includes safety and functional testing of finished units, assisting with stock management and maintaining a tidy working environment. Occasionally, the technician will travel to customer sites to support installation, commissioning, and repair of machines.

Responsibilities
  • Follow written and verbal instructions to assemble our products, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Accurately record information such as serial numbers and progress updates manually and electronically throughout the process.
  • Run safety and functional tests on our products.
  • Package our product ready for shipping to our customers and associated companies.
  • Help maintain a tidy working environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Occasionally visit customer sites to assist with installation, commissioning, and repair as required.
Role Requirements
  • Practical experience in a workshop environment and assembly using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures, and work for periods without supervision.
  • Basic IT knowledge.
  • Enthusiastic and helpful, enjoying work on a highly technical product and taking pride in producing a very high-quality end product.
