Assembly / Stores Operative – Kirkby in Ashfield

Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm

Pay: £12.78 per hour

Fresh Start Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Kirkby, a specialist in interconnect design solutions. They are one of the worldwide market leaders of their products in the Military/Civil Aerospace, Land Systems, Subsea, Oil and Gas, Space and Industrial and Mass Transit Industries.

We are currently looking to recruit a number of flexible operatives to support our stores, insert assembly fit and cable cut processes for ongoing growth of their Kirkby facility. If you are looking for a career opportunity within a business where people really count, look no further.

Initially commencing on a temporary contract but after just 12 weeks trial period you have the opportunity to secure yourself a permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Following written instructions and have
• The ability to select the correct number of stock/items needed
• Ensure all stock is counted correctly and efficiently and ready for production
• Flexible approach to support other departments as and when needed
• Assembly small components using detailed instructions
