Job summary

A manufacturing firm in North East England is looking for an experienced Assembly Process Engineer to manage all aspects of product assembly, particularly in high-volume automated die attach and wire bonding processes. Candidates should have a strong background in semiconductor assembly, process improvement skills, and possess a relevant Engineering degree. The role involves equipment maintenance and liaising with suppliers for effective technical support.

Responsibilities

• Cover all aspects of product assembly with a focus on high volume automated die attach and wire bonding assembly equipment.
• Develop and maintain all equipment and processes within the manufacturing area.
• Provide high level technical support for yield improvement.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers as part of the role.

Skills
