Assembly Operative

Location: Worcester (WR2)
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: £12.56 per hour
Contract: Temporary – Permanent

A well‑established company based in Worcester, operating within the infrastructure sector for over 20 years, is currently looking to recruit a reliable and hands‑on Assembly Operative to join their production team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a practical, workshop‑based role, ideal for someone with previous assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys working with tools, components, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembling products and components in line with drawings and instructions
  • Using hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately
  • Picking and preparing components required for assembly
  • Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
  • Assisting with packing and preparing completed items for dispatch
  • Supporting stock control and general workshop organisation
  • Completing basic paperwork related to orders and production
Requirements
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is essential
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and technical drawings
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
