Assembly Technician

£30,800 - £33,800 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Stockport for an Assembly technician. This is a permanent job, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and paying £30,800 - £33,800 per annum, dependant on experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assembly and build quality is of optimum standard.
• Ensure machinery is of optimum quality and working standard prior to delivery.
• Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
• Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
• Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
• On-site commissioning and customer training.

Requirements

• Experienced in being responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to carry out repairs, and servicing of all equipment.
• Proficient in general engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
• Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
