Job summary

A veterinary practice in Warrington is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant Apprentice for a full-time role working 40 hours per week, including weekends. Qualifications

• Must have lived in the UK and/or EU for 3 years prior to apprenticeship start date.
• Not be undertaking another apprenticeship at the same time.
• Not be in full time education.
• Pass your initial probation period.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside vets, vet nurses, and reception staff.
• Keeping the practice clean, tidy, and organised.
• Feeding and monitoring in‑patients.
• Running clinical tests.
• Handling a variety of small animals.
• Helping set up for operations.
• Deep cleaning all areas.
• Speaking to clients on the phone and in person.
