An educational consultancy in Chichester seeks an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to support students in a Special Educational Needs setting. This role offers hands-on experience with ages 4-11 and is ideal for Psychology graduates. Responsibilities include assisting academically, working in 1:1 settings, and helping develop social skills. A genuine passion for child development and previous SEN experience are required. The contract is for 5 days a week, 8:30 - 15:30.

Job Title: Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant
Location: Chichester
Contract Type: Long Term Contract, 5 days a week, 8:30 - 15:30

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with previous SEN experience OR a Graduate with a keen interest in this area of work. It is the perfect position for someone in search of hands-on experience working with social, emotional mental health needs.

The SEN LSA opportunity in Chichester is focused on raising attainment with children aged 4-11. As a LSA, you will be working in classes of 5-8 students, with a staff to student ratio of 1:1 for some students.

Great experience for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist, and gives you excellent grounding across several areas in social, advocacy, mental health, and special educational needs. This school offers restorative, therapeutic approaches to education and behaviour management.

Requirements

  • Knowledge, keen interest or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH, PRU, Cognitive Behaviours)
