Position: Aspiring Assistant Psychologist
Location: Biggleswade
Salary: £90 - £110 a day
Start Date: Immediate or September
Sector: Education and Training
Contract: Full-time, term time only (Mon-Fri)

Are you an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist looking for practical experience that will set the foundation for a future career in clinical, counselling, educational psychology, and education and training?

Responsibilities
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, attachment difficulties, and more
  • Collaborate with Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, and SENCOs
  • Gain real-world experience in behaviour analysis, emotional regulation, and inclusive learning practices
  • Enhance your CV with relevant experience required for Assistant Psychologist, PGCert, or DClinPsy pathways
  • Access ongoing training, mentorship, and a supportive multidisciplinary team
Qualifications and profile
  • A recent Psychology graduate (or Criminology with psychology interest) in or around Biggleswade
  • Passionate about mental health, child development, and educational support
  • Empathetic, resilient, and proactive in supporting vulnerable students
  • Previous experience with SEN or children is a plus, but the right attitude matters most
