The school is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and make a lasting difference.

The Role:

  • Supporting students with Autism across various year groups.
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children access the curriculum.
  • Promoting communication, independence, and emotional regulation.
  • Assisting with sensory needs and behaviour strategies.
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver personalised support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with Autism
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable nature
  • A good understanding of SEN and strategies to support ASD
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Adult and Child (or willingness to obtain one)
