Job summary

A community advice service in the West Midlands is seeking a Financial Wellbeing Adviser to assist with social welfare services for patients on the Autism Spectrum. This role requires experience in casework, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping families in need. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and able to work independently while also contributing to a team. Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel is necessary. Competitive terms offered.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and confident person to join our Casework Team as a Financial Wellbeing Adviser, to assist in the provision of social welfare and general advice services to patients working with Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Pathway.

If you have caseworker experience within Debt & Welfare Rights, are passionate about supporting individuals and families in need and interested in joining a dedicated, professional team we would love to hear from you.

Applicants need to be:

  • Computer‑liter​ate, although training on our case recording systems will be given.
  • Have the ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service.
  • Be an enthusiastic and dynamic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and also be able to work independently.
  • Have experience in casework within an advice setting.
  • Be willing to work from a variety of settings including your own home as required.
  • Having knowledge and experience of project working in a target led environment would be an advantage.
  • Have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel.
