Job description

This well-established and rapidly expanding asbestos company with a large presence nationwide is now looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in and around the West London area. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering asbestos surveying and air monitoring tasks to commercial, industrial and domestic properties. Applications from Reading, Basingstoke, Slough, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• The individual must possess the P402, P403 and P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Experience working as a surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

• Undertake asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
• Supervising contractors on site to ensure compliance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
• Collating and producing asbestos reports.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
