Job description

Our client is a well-regarded asbestos consultancy who service a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor /Analyst based in and around the Corby area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveys and air monitoring duties on various site types. They will consider applications from Leicester, Kettering, Coventry, Loughborough, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Will possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Have significant experience working within an asbestos surveying and air-testing/air-monitoring within the asbestos industry.
• Experience with managing own work load and providing a consultancy service to clients would be advantageous.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.
• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various sites – commercial and industrial.
• Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
• Collating and producing asbestos reports as and when required.
• Establishing and maintaining a good working rapport with the company’s portfolio of clients.
