Job description

Our client is a successful asbestos company who deliver outstanding asbestos services to clients throughout the country. They currently hold a vacancy for an experienced, hardworking and dedicated Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their busy team working on a variety of contracts in and around the Nottingham area. The successful candidate will hold the P402/3/4 and extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveys and analytical duties on a range of site types. Applications from Derby, Stock-on-Trent, Chesterfield, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Will hold the P402/P403/P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Experience in asbestos surveying and air-monitoring/air-testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competent IT skills including experience using Microsoft office applications.
• A strong working knowledge of asbestos health & safety procedures.

Duties within the Role:

• Carry out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
• Undertaking Management & Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
• Supervising contractors on site ensuring compliance with asbestos health and safety procedures.
• Collating and producing comprehensive reports.
• Maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
