Job description

Future select specialise in recruitment within the asbestos industry and due to an increase of work load, a well-established client of ours is now looking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor in and around the Chelmsford area. The ideal candidate will hold a strong background in the asbestos industry, undertaking asbestos surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites. Companies can also offer training for the P403 / P404 to the right candidate. Consideration will be given to candidates from, Braintree, Witham, Basildon, Harlow, Brentwood, and the surrounding areas.

Qualification and experience

• Ideally must have attained the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Must have previous experience of asbestos surveying within the industry.
• Must hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Be well versed with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Role

• Undertaking asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties both commercial and industrial.
• Consulting and liaising with clients from all levels.
• Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the clients.
• Collating and producing accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
