Our client is an established and well-respected asbestos consultancy known for their wide range of specialist asbestos services to high-profile clients across the country. They are currently hiring for a tenacious, professional and target driven Asbestos Sales Manager based in or around the Newcastle upon Tyne area. The successful candidate will come from a strong sales management background and will have extensive experience growing and developing a varied portfolio of clients. The company are offering the successful individual the opportunity to establish and grow new sales departments throughout the UK. Applications from Sunderland, South Shields, Durham, Chester‑Le‑Street and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A strong sales, business development, management, technical and office background is essential.
  • Ideally experience working in a business development or sales role within the asbestos or environmental industry.
  • Ideally have experience setting up and growing new sales offices.
  • Have a good formal education.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
Role:
  • Resourcing new contracts whilst managing existing ones.
  • Involvement with the sales, commercial and financial side of the business.
  • Promoting the company’s asbestos services.
  • Produce quotations and submit tenders.
  • Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
  • Build a professional working relationship with clients/customers.
  • Maintaining the company’s systems.
  • Attend and conduct meetings to discuss financial position of the business, etc.
  • Achieving target and goals.
  • Assist in the development of the sales staff by providing further training where required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.
  • Developing plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.
