Job description

We are currently recruiting for an established and recognised asbestos consultancy, who are looking for an experienced and switched‑on Asbestos Coordinator / Project Manager based in or around the London area. The successful candidate will hold a strong technical knowledge, hold the P402 and extensive experience within an asbestos surveying position. The role is office based and would suit a somebody that is looking to use their site knowledge within an office / project management setting. Applications will be considered from Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Dartford, Brentwood, and the surrounding areas.

Experience
  • Will ideally hold the P402 and have hands on asbestos surveying experience.
  • Will hold a strong working knowledge of asbestos surveys types.
  • Will come from a strong administrative and project coordination / management.
  • Hold experience over‑seeing a portfolio of asbestos contracts.
  • Experience managing a team of administrative staff.
  • A proven track record of liaising with clients.
  • Experience in scheduling work for all staff
Role
  • Managing a wide range of asbestos projects covering a mixed portfolio of clients.
  • Attending all progress meetings with clients/contractors to ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Assessing potential contracts, producing estimates, quotations and completing risk assessments.
  • Produce comprehensive management reports using the company procedures.
  • Undertake tendering process including writing tender specifications.
  • Suppling existing and new clients with quotations
  • Getting involved with quality control and reporting.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
  • Attending regional meetings and training
  • Reporting any quality issues to the technical and quality team
