A leading community-oriented retail organization in Manchester is seeking an Asbestos Compliance Coordinator to manage compliance with asbestos regulations and oversee licensed contractors effectively. You will ensure the safety of workplaces across the business while fostering strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. £30,000 - £32,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6B)

We're looking for an Asbestos Compliance Coordinator to join our growing compliance team and help ensure our Co‑op remains fully compliant with asbestos regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining safe, healthy workplaces for colleagues across the business and optimising relationships with key contractors.

You’ll act as the link between Co‑op and our licensed asbestos removal contractors, making sure work is carried out safely, compliantly, and in line with business objectives. You’ll need to be an expert communicator, confident in managing challenging conversations when agreements aren’t met.
