Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Administrator through to Lead Asbestos Administrator

Profile

Our client is a leading, UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy who work across the South East / London area on a mixed portfolio of sites. They are now looking for an organised and enthusiastic Asbestos Administrator based in and around the Southend-on-Sea area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the asbestos industry, ideally working in an administrative position, scheduling works for staff, providing support to the management team, ensuring the office is running smoothly and making sure any issues are being dealt with effectively.
Applications will be considered from: Rayleigh, Rochford, Canvey Island, Grays, Brentwood, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Will have experience working in the asbestos industry, ideally in an office / administration position.
  • Will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the completion of PQQs and tenders.
  • Scheduling in works for site staff.
  • Providing management with support.
  • Taking telephone calls and dealing with all enquiries in an efficient manner.
  • Collecting information from site staff to finalise documents to send to clients.
  • Ensuring that the office is running effectively.
  • Providing effective control of the company’s documents and ensuring compliance.
  • Carrying out any other administrative duties such as filing documents, and scanning.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
