Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a public sector organisation to recruit an Arts Information & Education Officer (Job-Share) to support the delivery and growth of a vibrant arts programme based in Lisburn.

This is an excellent opportunity for an arts, education or marketing professional seeking part-time hours within a creative and community-focused environment.

The role

As Arts Information & Education Officer, you will play a key role in leading marketing, education and audience development initiatives to increase engagement and participation across the Arts Service.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the marketing and education functions of the Arts Service
  • Develop, manage and deliver an Audience Development Plan to meet agreed targets
  • Promote arts programmes to a broad and diverse audience
  • Support education initiatives linked to the arts programme
  • Work closely with the Arts Service Manager and wider Cultural & Community Services Unit
  • Contribute to the overall promotion and accessibility of arts provision
Hours of work
  • 18½ hours per week
  • Worked over 6 days, Monday to Saturday, aligned with the Arts Programme
  • Typical patterns:
  • Full days Monday & Tuesday, plus Wednesday morning
  • OR full days Wednesday & Thursday, plus Friday morning
About you

You will be highly organised, creative, and passionate about arts engagement, with experience in marketing, education, audience development or a related field. Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly across programmes are essential.
