Job summary

A leading educational institution in Chester is looking for a committed Art and Design teacher to join their supportive team. This role requires passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students across various ages and abilities. Candidates should hold a PGCE or equivalent and have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum. In addition to planning lessons, teachers will provide feedback, assess progress, and lead extracurricular activities. Competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate.
  • Possess excellent subject knowledge and classroom practice.

  • Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback
  • Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.
  • Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department
  • Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant bachelor's degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.

  • Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience
