Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a substantive Constable in a Home Office force.
• Must provide training record endorsed by Chief Firearms Instructor.
• Must pass the JRFT to level 9-4 on application.
• Must be a current police advanced driver or willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all duties of an Authorised Firearms Officer.
• Participate in medical and fitness tests.
• Provide evidence of operational competence at interview.
