Job Type:

Excellent overall package with lots of benefits

Selling the companies manufactured range of Carcassed Timber, Timber panels, Decking, Lumber, Fencing & Chipboard etc (but NOT Timber trusses or Timber Frame). Selling 100% of your time into Independent Builders Merchants, Timber Merchants & Buying Group members. Some involvement at individual branch management but due to the size of the area the real involvement will be with Regional Directors/Senior Managers or at head offices at smaller but Multi Branch Independent Merchants with MD’s & Purchasing Directors. Based from home. Due to the area size there will involve nights away sometimes. Lots of existing business but potential for more business development. The territory is East Midlands, all of Yorkshire and the North West of the UK.

Person

My client is looking for a determined, motivated sales person who can demonstrate success in selling through Independent Merchants. It would be an advantage if you have sold Timber but any construction product through the Merchant network is perfect. As an individual you need to be energetic, driven, personable and possess strong relationship building skills.
