Overview

Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms and Showers. Area to be covered: South West and South Central – ideally based along the M4 corridor. Remuneration: £38,000-£42,000 + 20% Bonus. Benefits: £500 per month car allowance or hybrid car & full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position, promoting taps, showers and accessories for bathrooms.
• Majority of time selling into plumbers merchants; smaller portion to independent bathroom specialists, independent retailers & bathroom showrooms.
• Inheriting an established area with significant growth potential.
• Responsible for circa 600+ plumbers merchant customers, with active spend from ~100.
• Initially an account development focused role.
• Initially responsible for approximately £650,000 revenue, with growth target to £750,000 for the area.
• Implementing a 12-week journey plan to visit plumbers merchants in proportion to their value to the business.
• Typically 4 days on the road visiting customers, 1 day per week working from home/admin.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales track record.
• Must have sold into plumbers merchants (may consider currently working for a plumbers merchant seeking first field sales role).
• Proven account management skills; strong relationship builder.
• Ambitious, dynamic and hard-working personality.
• Knowledge of showers, bathrooms, brassware, tapware, sanitaryware preferred.
• Ability to build a structured journey plan.
• Autonomous, driven self-starter; proactive rather than passive.
