A leading solutions provider in the UK is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop new business and manage existing accounts. This flexible role involves extensive travel across the UK, focusing on the sales of filtration bags and supporting service projects. The ideal candidate should have a technical background and be proactive. Salary ranges from £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, with a vehicle provided. Training is available for less experienced candidates.
Sales Engineer / Technical Sales / Sales & Service Engineer (flexible)
Develop new business across UK & Ireland
Manage and grow Lexus existing accounts
Sell filtration bags (dry & wet filtration)
Support and grow service work:
Installation & removal of filter bags
On-site service projects (cement, pharma, food sectors)
Work closely with internal service teams
Reports directly into Managing Director (Tim Barber)
Engineering background or technical understanding
Enthusiastic, proactive, and commercially minded
Willing to travel extensively and work autonomously
Does NOT need to be highly experienced
Training provided
Open to younger / less experienced candidates with the right attitude
Location: Anywhere in the UK
Office: Barry (Wales)Office attendance:
Ad hoc only (historically ~1 day per month)
Travel: Heavy UK travel (sales & service sites)
Fully remote role with national coverage
Majority of time on the road
No fixed territories (UK-wide responsibility)
Service work supports and feeds sales pipeline
Safety desf qualifications:
Not essential
Beneficial if trained (or willing to train)
All service work is external
Door-to-door pay confirmed
Company provides:
Vans / vehicles
Tools and equipment
Safety training where required
Salary range: £30,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Vehicle provided (car or van depending on role)
