Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery.

Role

Will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK. Maintaining mechanical engineering product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets. Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements. Provide after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required to customers within a variety of industries such as manufacturing, food & bev, and more. Field-based covering the UK with regular visits to customer sites. Required to be at office in Alton when not on the road. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within an industrial engineering environment.
  • Experience selling capital equipment / machinery or systems.
  • Candidates with proven experience selling automated packaging machinery are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to work a Hybrid mix of office based and, on the road, visiting customers.
