Job summary

A building materials company in the South East is seeking an Area Sales Executive to develop customer relationships and maximize sales in a defined territory. Applicants should have internal sales experience within the building materials sector and a desire to transition to external sales. This role also offers a Level 4 Sales apprenticeship to develop sales management skills. A valid driving licence is required and nights away from home are expected.

Area Sales Executive

£32,000 - 37,000 plus car and bonus

Are you motivated to take your sales experience into an external sales role? Do you want to earn a qualification whilst you work in an external sales position?

Our very successful client is looking to future‑proof their external sales team by bringing on a trainee sales executive and putting them through a Level 4 Sales apprenticeship. They want to create the Area Sales Managers of the future that are trained how to manage and grow an area right and not just reply on existing relationships.

Our client sells a range of fittings to builders, merchants and distributors.

The role of Area Sales Executive will focus on building relationships with all customers in your area supporting them with enquiries and support for their customers.

You will manage your area maximising the sales from all customers and identifying areas to increase sales.
