A leading logistics company in Bristol is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee operations at their Customer Fulfilment Centre. The role involves managing area performance metrics, training staff, and ensuring safety standards are maintained in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have previous management experience in logistics and strong problem-solving skills. The position requires working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including weekends, with a focus on team development and employee retention.

We are looking for a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Area Manager (nights) at our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Bristol. You will be managing the performance of designated operating areas within the CFC, whilst working closely with multiple departments to achieve site targets. You will be part of a tiered management team reporting to operator managers and will be key in shaping and delivering an outstanding employee experience for your teams Persisting encouraging self improvement, training and development.
You’ll work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (including weekends) in an operational environment, with additional days occasionally for personal development and training needs. Shifts are 12 hours in length, and your start time will be 18:00 - 06:00.
