Area Business Manager - Companion Animal Health - Scotland & North East England

Our client is a leading animal health company, dedicated to supporting its customers and their businesses. Building on more than 65 years of experience in animal health, they discover, develop, manufacture and commercialize medicines, vaccines and diagnostic products, which are complemented by biodevices, genetic tests and a range of services.

In 2018, the company generated annual revenue of $5.8 billion with approximately 10,000 employees.

Due to business growth and success, they are now looking for a new Area Business Manager to join their Companion Animal Business Unit, to lead a high calibre and top performing team.

The ABM executes business strategies and centrally developed marketing programmes with the team. They lead the team to sell designated product lines to identified and agreed industry accounts.

The person in role is required to develop mutually beneficial and productive long term partnerships with our customers, and to maintain these relationships alongside the field force managers, with the appropriate quantity & quality of activity.

Candidate Profile:
  • Exceptional leadership skills; and effective coach, motivator and people manager
  • Demonstrated skills in sales and negotiation including virtual selling skills
