Architectural Technologist

Location: Towcester

Salary: £38-44,000

A great opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic Architectural Technologist to become part of a well‑established and expanding architectural practice based in Towcester. This position offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of high‑quality residential and commercial schemes within a collaborative and design‑focused studio environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and full construction packages
  • Assist with the development of designs, ensuring solutions are practical, buildable, and compliant with current regulations
  • Work closely with internal project teams to meet deadlines and uphold high‑quality standards
  • Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities when required
  • Carry out site surveys and attend site visits or inspections as necessary
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of building regulations, industry developments, and best practice
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience working as an Architectural Technologist
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Sound understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing
