Job summary

A respected multidisciplinary practice is seeking an Architectural Technologist to support technical drawing production and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations. Candidates should possess strong AutoCAD skills and be able to collaborate effectively. This position is based in Bedford and offers a salary of £30-40,000.

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit proficiency highly advantageous.
  • Experience with residential or commercial projects (academic or professional).
  • Fundamental understanding of UK Building Regulations.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of accurate technical drawings.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications and building regulations documentation.
  • Work closely with consultants, contractors, and the project team.
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical support throughout construction stages.
  • Ensure all work aligns with current UK Building Regulations.
