Job summary

A well-established architectural studio in Erith seeks an enthusiastic Architectural Designer to join their Planning Team. The role requires strong client management skills, proficiency in Revit, and a passion for architecture. You will prepare planning application drawings, collaborate with a design team, and contribute to various projects from RIBA Stage 0-3. Qualifications

• Must have secured 30+ planning permissions within the UK with hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural roles focused on RIBA Stages 0-3.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

We’re excited to welcome a well‑organised and enthusiastic Architectural Designer to our Planning Team. Proficiency in Revit is essential, and experience with SketchUp or Enscape is a bonus.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced architects from RIBA Stage 0‑3, gain hands‑on experience in planning applications, detail design, and contribute to turning creative concepts into reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings for planning applications
• Use excellent people skills and presentation abilities to effectively convey ideas and concepts to key stakeholders
• Assist in the coordination and management of planning applications, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and initiative in handling your own projects
• Conduct planning research and apply planning policies to designs
• Collaborate with the design team on concept development and project execution
• Ensure project deadlines are met and provide regular reporting

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field (RIBA/CIAT accredited)
• Must have experience securing 30+ planning permissions within the UK, with hands‑on involvement in planning applications and detailed design, contributing to turning creative concepts into built reality.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural roles, preferably focused RIBA Stages 0‑3
• Working use of Revit
• Right to work in the UK is required
