Job summary

A leading architectural practice based in Central London is looking for proactive Architects to work on residential projects. The role requires 5-7 years of post-qualification UK experience and a strong understanding of UK planning regulations. Proficiency in Revit and/or MicroStation is essential. This is a permanent position with responsibilities ranging from concept design to planning tender stages. Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a portfolio showcasing their design experience.

Overview

Architect for UK residential projects

Central London

Permanent position, five days in office

A respected architectural practice in London is seeking proactive Architects to join their team, working on a range of residential projects from concept design to planning and tender stages.

Key Requirements

• 5-7 years post-qualification UK experience in architecture.
• Strong understanding of residential projects, UK regulations, and planning policy.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or MicroStation (majority of projects are working in Revit, but some previous projects at later stages are working in Microstation)
• A portfolio demonstrating residential design experience.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Must already be based in the UK with appropriate work permits.

Desirable Skills

• Self-motivated, proactive, and experienced in team collaboration.
• Strong presentation skills with Adobe software.
• Experience with 3D modelling in Rhino and V-Ray would be a bonus, but not essential.
• Experience leading a small team and knowledge of RIBA Stages 4/5.
