Overview

Architect – Location: Sheffield

Salary: £34-40,000

A well-established and nationally recognised architecture and engineering practice is seeking a talented Architect to join its growing Student Accommodation team based in Sheffield. The practice delivers large, complex buildings and offers opportunities to work on a diverse range of high-profile student residential projects in a fully office-based, collaborative environment that fosters mentoring and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of student accommodation projects from concept through to completion
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams including engineers, planners, and consultants
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, and client briefs
  • Attend client meetings and site visits to monitor project progress and quality
  • Contribute to the practice's ethos of innovation, efficiency, and excellence in design
Ideal Candidate
  • Several years post-Part 3 experience, ideally with exposure to student accommodation or residential projects
  • Strong technical knowledge and proven delivery skills on large or complex schemes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
