Location: Leeds
Salary: 36-45,000 (dependent on experience)

A leading architectural design studio is looking for a talented and driven Architect to join its dynamic and collaborative Leeds studio. Known for its strong design ethos and commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable architecture, the practice operates across a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a skilled team of architectural assistants, architects, associates, and directors on a variety of exciting and technically complex projects. The position is ideal for a recently qualified or early-career architect seeking to take ownership of design and technical output while continuing to grow professionally in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of medium and large-scale projects across all RIBA work stages.

  • Collaborate with Associates and team members to develop high-quality design and technical solutions.

  • Take ownership of technical detailing, drawing packages, and project coordination.

  • Develop design ideas through drawings, 3D models, and visual presentations.

  • Engage confidently with consultants and contractors, taking responsibility for key design elements.

  • Manage individual workflow effectively to ensure successful delivery of tasks and deadlines.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Architect with ARB registration.

  • Strong academic background and professional training.

  • Experience delivering UK residential and mixed-use projects.

  • Sound knowledge of all RIBA work stages, particularly stages 2-4.

  • Proven ability in technical detailing, package delivery, and coordination.

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, 3D modelling, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Confident working directly with external consultants and contractors.

  • Collaborative, communicative, and proactive approach to teamwork.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
