This is an exciting role to teach and assess electrical installation at Harrogate College, delivering Level 3 Installation and Maintenance apprenticeships. You will be joining an enthusiastic, proactive team that thrives to get the best results from the learners and works collaboratively to ensure the very best outcomes. As an Electrical Assessor at Harrogate College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of electricians.
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering high-quality, engaging teaching and assessment. You will design and implement innovative teaching and assessment methods to enhance the learning experience. In addition to teaching, you will be expected to contribute to the development of the electrical apprenticeship curriculum, ensuring it remains current with industry trends and technological advancements. This includes designing new course materials, updating existing ones, and participating in curriculum review processes and involving employers to enhance the learning experiences.
We have a well‑equipped, industry‑standard and professional workshop to teach the course's practical elements. The role will additionally involve visiting learners in the workplace to assess their knowledge, skills and behaviours in practice. Overall, this role requires a dynamic individual, a commitment to student success, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, industry partners, and the broader community.
