We're offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Fleet Management Office as an Apprentice Transport Support Assistant. This apprenticeship will provide experience in a dynamic office environment, supporting the delivery of essential transport services across the Council. You'll gain valuable skills and knowledge while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Transport Services provide Fleet Management services for the Council's fleet of 200+ vehicles including vehicle maintenance, driver training, and vehicle compliance. The service also provides a passenger transport service for children with special educational needs or disabilities, older people and adults with disabilities. Our aims are to:

The postholder will work under the Council's Flexitime Scheme, however, the role requires the office to be covered between 08.00-17.00 Mon - Fri, so a rota system is in place to cover the working day.
