Outwood Academy Foxhills Apprentice ICT Technician
We invite applications from enthusiastic and flexible candidates to join our existing ICT support team as an Apprentice IT Technician. You will gain a level 3 qualification in ICT over a 12 - 18 month period.
This is a full-time position working all year round (not just term time) 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday on an 18 month fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent subject to completion of the apprenticeship. The salary begins at £24,413 per annum (NJC grade 1 SCP 2) as an apprentice then increases to £27,254 (NJC Grade 5 SCP 9) when qualified.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of general hardware and software as well as being highly organised and having excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team is essential and experience of working in an ICT support role or similar would be an advantage but is not required.
