White Label is representing an engineering business in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an Applications Engineer.

This role will be a blend of design work using Solidworks and being a product expert for customers and colleagues. The role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to be part of the full engineering process.

Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer

• Design and product manufacturing drawings for special components using Solidworks
• Specify, quote and project manage company products
• Provide technical support with applications and product specifications for both customer and colleagues
• Make site visits to measure and assess projects
• Product quotations using SAP
• Pricing up and preparing quotations for the customer
• Making technical selections based on what is best for the customer requirement

Experience required of the Applications Engineer

• HNC or degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Comfortable speaking and dealing with customers as well as being personable
• Solidworks experience
