Company Overview

Elementar UK, a subsidiary of the Elementar Group headquartered in Langenselbold, Germany, specializes in the sales, marketing support, and manufacturing of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers (IRMS) systems and related instruments. Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, we achieve cutting‑edge R&D and advanced instrument servicing.

Employment type: Full‑time.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out and evaluate application measurements to support product performance and relevance.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations, webinars, and training (on‑site and remote).
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Support customers throughout the pre‑sales and post‑sales process.
  • Develop tailored application solutions based on specific customer needs.
  • Present technical findings clearly to both customers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to application development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with R&D on prototype testing and validation activities.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality standards and project objectives.
Qualifications
  • Degree or higher in analytical chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills with experience in laboratory‑based analysis (preferably elemental).
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer‑service orientation.
  • Structured, independent working style with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Proactive, curious mindset and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the UK and Europe.
