Job summary

A leading additive manufacturing company in the UK is seeking an experienced engineer to support customer projects and guide them through their additive journey. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science, prior experience in additive manufacturing, and strong project management skills. Your Mission
  • You will be working for our engineering arm and guide customers throughout their Additive journey by building your expertise across one or more of our five Additive steps (Business Case, Design, Process and Application Development, Qualification, and Production & Post-Processing).
  • You actively support sales efforts by helping define, create, and execute AM production and enablement services.
  • You implement complex customer projects, align cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and develop innovative technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • You design and deliver targeted customer trainings and workshops to enhance AM knowledge and reduce time to market.
  • You will act as the voice of the customer in internal R&D and product development projects, contributing your expertise to shape innovative and market-relevant solutions.
Your Talents
  • Completed degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Prior working experience in Additive Manufacturing and with metal machines
  • Strong project management skills
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Based in the West Midlands with willingness to travel as required for customer visits, conferences, and fairs within the UK, as well as to trainings and other events in EMEA
