Job Title: Application Architect

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Produce architectural visions and end-to-end designs for Cards Payment Application integration, including acquiring and issuing.
2. Coordinate impact assessment activities for proposed solutions.
3. Be the steward for one or more capabilities/technologies, setting ongoing roadmaps and directions to ensure all components support and conform to bank standards.
4. Ensure project governance aligns with architectural standards and strategy.
5. Develop and maintain constructive relationships with senior business stakeholders and peer relationships with CTO and other Transaction Cycle architects.
6. Maintain a strong understanding of application API architecture, including RAML, SOAP, etc.
7. Gain exposure to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design principles, service definition, and web services implementation, including external API exposure.

What we're looking for:

1. Significant experience in real-world architecture, defining enterprise-wide technical solutions, documenting, and driving them to delivery.
2. Proven experience with application backgrounds and understanding of API architecture, including RAML, SOAP, etc.
3. Experience in architecting end-to-end solutions, including software/application architecture and integration.
4. Experience migrating from traditional on-premise architectures to cloud-based solutions.
5. Competence in executing substantial IT delivery programs from inception to completion.
6. Solution and enterprise architect training and certification, e.g., TOGAF or BCS.
7. Knowledge of Java and Java Enterprise technologies.
