As an Automation Developer, you’ll work within the UK&I Automation team, supporting a UK Secure Account under the Global Tooling Architecture Team. You’ll be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing automation solutions, while contributing to the development of standardized blueprints that enable scalable, repeatable delivery for our clients. This role combines technical expertise with strategic governance to drive innovation and efficiency across enterprise environments.

  • Quick grasp of complex technical applications, with hands‑on experience in automation tools like Ansible and scripting languages such as Ruby or Python.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Windows CLI, Git‑based code management, and working with SSH clients and text editors at enterprise scale.
  • History of delivering within Automation.
  • Experience of working in agile delivery teams.
  • Experience of nurturing talent and promoting automation.

Note: This role is UK‑based and offers a remote working opportunity, with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining SC clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
