Location: UK - Remote first (office in Belfast optional)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 GBP
Working Hours: Candidates should be able to work until 6:30-7:00 pm GMT to align with PST teams

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer - a proactive, self-directed professional who goes beyond executing tickets. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can analyse systems, identify issues, propose solutions, and help guide priorities across a complex data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build clean, maintainable dbt models, and migrate custom SQL from Tableau into dbt pipelines.
  • Structure data marts and help transition dashboards into robust, model‑driven solutions.
  • Handle complex, messy, or disparate data, reconciling inconsistencies across systems.
  • Ensure reliability of reporting, KPIs, and downstream data outputs despite upstream variability.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue, RevOps, and other non‑technical or semi‑technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews and contribute to prioritisation and translation of business needs into technical work.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Deep dbt expertise, including model performance considerations and grain selection.
  • Strong data modelling & architecture skills, able to navigate complex, tangled data environments.
  • SQL mastery, able to complete complex transformations and pass technical assessments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, Tableau (as a downstream consumer), Segment, Fivetran, and RDS.
  • 7-10+ years in data‑focused roles, comfortable operating in ambiguity and legacy systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Desirable / Nice‑to‑Have
  • Experience with dbt MetricFlow or semantic layer implementations.
  • Background working in distributed, global teams (LATAM, US, UK).

  • Pragmatic and self‑directed, thrives in messy ecosystems without requiring a full architecture rebuild.
  • Comfortable balancing short‑term triage with longer‑term strategic thinking.
