Key Responsibilities
- Build clean, maintainable dbt models, and migrate custom SQL from Tableau into dbt pipelines.
- Structure data marts and help transition dashboards into robust, model‑driven solutions.
- Handle complex, messy, or disparate data, reconciling inconsistencies across systems.
- Ensure reliability of reporting, KPIs, and downstream data outputs despite upstream variability.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, RevOps, and other non‑technical or semi‑technical stakeholders.
- Participate in stakeholder interviews and contribute to prioritisation and translation of business needs into technical work.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep dbt expertise, including model performance considerations and grain selection.
- Strong data modelling & architecture skills, able to navigate complex, tangled data environments.
- SQL mastery, able to complete complex transformations and pass technical assessments.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, Tableau (as a downstream consumer), Segment, Fivetran, and RDS.
- 7-10+ years in data‑focused roles, comfortable operating in ambiguity and legacy systems.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Desirable / Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience with dbt MetricFlow or semantic layer implementations.
- Background working in distributed, global teams (LATAM, US, UK).
Candidate Profile
- Pragmatic and self‑directed, thrives in messy ecosystems without requiring a full architecture rebuild.
- Comfortable balancing short‑term triage with longer‑term strategic thinking.
